Comments:
retired in Sep 2008 after 36 of Federal government service; appointed to Governor John Dalton's staff from 1978-1982 and now often volunteer in local campaigns. I have two grandsons--ages 17 and 11--who are such joys.
Tell us a favorite memory or story from your days at AHS.
Two instances come to mine; the day I wore a kilt to school (with knee socks) and it was considered TOO short for the classroom---I lived a distance from the school to be taken home; thus spent the day in the principal's office. AND, the day Mr. Julian King turned his BIG VPI college ring around and clunked me on the head!!!
